ELI5 Pricing Guide

No confusion. Here is how pricing works.

The Build-A-Bong event has a base price, then guests can choose optional upgrades. Think of it like ordering food: everyone starts with the main plate, then they can add extras if they want a bigger or fancier build.

Everybody starts with a base build.

The base build is the starting price for the event. It covers the hands-on build experience, the standard setup, guidance, and the guest leaving with a finished piece.

$40

Basic Base Build

The simple entry option for guests who want to participate, build something, and keep the price lower.

  • Good for budget-friendly events
  • Good for larger groups
  • Good for guests who may not want upgrades
$60

Premium Base Build

The higher base option for events with prettier pieces, stronger styling, or more premium inventory.

  • Good for premium parties
  • Good for photo-friendly setups
  • Good for guests who want the best base first

Plain English:

If someone only wants the regular Build-A-Bong experience, they usually pay somewhere between $40 and $60. That is the starting price before any fancy extras.

Then guests choose if they want upgrades.

Upgrades are not required. They are for guests who want a more customized piece, a smoother-looking setup, or a dual-use flower/concentrate-ready build.

$20–$25

Ash Catchers

Adds a bigger visual upgrade and extra filtration-style hardware to the build.

$10–$15

Premium Bowls

For guests who want a cuter, nicer, or more themed flower bowl than the basic option.

$10–$15

Quartz Bangers

Used to turn a basic compatible build into a dual-use rig setup.

Plain English:

The base build is the main price. Upgrades are like add-ons. A guest can keep their build simple, or they can add parts to make it bigger, cuter, or more premium.

Here is exactly how totals are made.

These examples are the easiest way to explain pricing. Guests do not need to guess. They pick a base, then add upgrades if they want them.

Example 1: Simple Base Build

Guest wants the regular experience with no upgrades.

$40–$60 base build = $40–$60 total
  • Best for guests who want to keep it simple
  • No premium upgrades added
  • Clear budget-friendly option

Example 4: Fully Built-Out Guest Choice

Guest wants a premium base, banger, carb cap, and ash catcher.

$90–$95 premium dual-use build + $20–$25 ash catcher = about $110–$120 total
  • Best for guests who want the biggest upgrade path
  • Not required for the event
  • Available only while premium inventory lasts

Important note:

Prices depend on what inventory is available at that event. Guests can always ask what is included before they upgrade. No one has to upgrade. The base build is enough to participate.

How to explain it to your group.

If guests pay individually

Tell guests: “The event starts at $40–$60 per person. You can keep your build basic or bring extra money for upgrades.”

If it is a business pop-up

Promote the base price clearly, then list upgrades as optional at the table so customers understand the full range.

Pricing questions answered before they ask.

Do I have to upgrade?

No. Upgrades are optional. The base build is enough to participate in the event.

Why does the price say $40–$60?

Because different events may use different base pieces, themes, guest counts, and setup needs.

What is a dual-use rig build?

It is a compatible base build upgraded with a banger and carb cap so it can be built toward a concentrate-ready setup.

Why is the dual-use rig $80–$85?

Because it adds a banger and carb cap to the base build. The rounded package price keeps the math simple.

Why is the premium one $90–$95?

Because it uses a nicer base, a premium quartz banger, and one of the best carb caps available at the event.

Can prices change?

Yes, based on inventory, travel, theme, guest count, and special requests. The published ranges help guests plan before booking.
