Waived deposits are earned through a real partnership.
Dispensaries can request a waived deposit fee when they agree to partner with Pixie's Pantry, let us use their facility and electricity, help advertise the event, and refer interested customers or patients to us. This page keeps the full partnership rules separate from the homepage so the main pitch stays clean: partner with us for a free show.
What the dispensary provides in exchange for a waived deposit
A waived deposit only makes sense when the host location is giving Pixie's Pantry real value in exchange for the time, setup, planning, travel, inventory prep, and opportunity cost.
Facility access
The dispensary provides approved space for the table or build bar, a safe legal event area, reasonable access for setup and teardown, parking/load-in instructions, and permission to be present onsite.
Electricity and basic setup support
The dispensary allows Pixie's Pantry to use electricity when needed for lighting, checkout, signage, displays, or small event equipment. The host should also clarify table, chair, and layout expectations before event day.
Advertising and promotion
The dispensary agrees to promote the Build-A-Bong event through its social media, in-store conversation, email or text list when available, staff reminders, website/event calendar when available, and in-store signage or flyers.
Referrals and warm handoff
The host agrees to refer interested customers, patients, private party hosts, retail owners, and community contacts to Pixie's Pantry for future Build-A-Bong events, hardware education, or private bookings.
Pixie's Pantry must be allowed to display and promote
Business cards and flyers
We must be able to place Pixie's Pantry business cards, flyers, event menus, and booking information at or near our setup.
QR codes and digital links
We must be allowed to display QR codes for booking, shopping, education resources, event interest forms, and Pixie's Pantry contact information.
Educational materials
We must be allowed to share compliant hardware education, safety reminders, setup information, and non-cannabis/non-consumption education materials.
Event photos and content
When allowed by the venue and guests, Pixie's Pantry may capture table setup photos, display photos, and promotional content. Guest privacy and dispensary policies still apply.
Clear naming as event provider
The dispensary should identify Pixie's Pantry as the Build-A-Bong event provider when advertising, posting, referring, or discussing the event.
Future booking visibility
The event should help people understand that Pixie's Pantry can be booked for private parties, retail pop-ups, birthdays, themed workshops, and Mississippi event activations.
Waived deposit stipulations
| Requirement | What it means | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Case-by-case approval | A waived deposit is not automatic just because the host is a dispensary. | We need to protect time, inventory, travel, and preparation costs. |
| Written agreement | The host and Pixie's Pantry should agree on date, time, location, access, promo expectations, setup needs, and allowed materials before the event. | Prevents confusion and protects both sides. |
| Promotion required | The host must make a real effort to advertise the event before it happens. | The waived deposit is exchanged for exposure, traffic, referrals, and partnership value. |
| Facility support required | The host provides facility access, space, electricity when needed, and clear setup rules. | Pixie's Pantry should not have to guess how to operate onsite. |
| No controlled substances from Pixie's Pantry | Pixie's Pantry does not provide cannabis, THC, nicotine, tobacco, alcohol, or controlled substances. | The event remains hardware-only, education-focused, and venue-policy compliant. |
